On May 26, more than 5,500 employees from the medical center campus came together for a picnic lunch and carnival-themed events, including batting cages, miniature train rides and chances to dunk managers and supervisors. Dunk tank dunkees included Tony Gould of distribution and stores, who donned a chicken costume to add to the festivity of the day. The costume at least provided him with a good excuse for leaving at the end of a double shift at the tank, Gould said. "I told folks I had an interview with Foster Farms I had to go to." Other dunkees included Duane Hicks of Parking and Transportation Services, Marty Gothard of Food and Nutrition Services, Dennis Curry of Plant Operations and Maintenance, and Veronica Esparza and Pete Petersen of Information Services.
