Chancellor Larry Vanderhoef and Provost Virginia Hinshaw and other campus leaders will offer an update on what's going on at UC Davis when Brown Bag chats return to campus Monday, May 24.

Staff and faculty members are invited to bring their lunches and questions to the event, set for noon to 1 p.m. in Wyatt Pavilion.

"I initiated these brownbag chats during the challenging budgetary times of the early 1990s," said Vanderhoef. "As we put those difficult years behind us, attendance at these informal sessions waned," he said, and the Brown Bags were eventually phased out.

"Given our current fiscal challenges, there may be need once again to provide this opportunity for conversation," Vanderhoef said.
