Nominations for 2005 book project selection sought
Nominations for books for the 2005 Campus Community Book Project are sought. Each year a book is chosen for its potential to foster dialogue and new perspectives about important social issues.
Any work that is still in print in paperback (e.g., non-fiction, play, novel, collection) is eligible. The work should be compelling and accessible for a general audience, short enough to be read as part of a course and able to be integrated into discussion groups, events and coursework across the campus.
E-mail the book's title, author and why it would make a good selection to kmroth@ucdavis.edu. The book project committee will begin reviewing nominations in July. Titles of the nominated books will be posted at http://occr.ucdavis.edu/bookproject.html.
