A rainy day on a bright campus

Though it is raining today, the UC Davis outlook is bright for one of the sunniest campuses in the nation.

UC Davis admits outstanding students and prepares them for future leadership. The average GPA of fall 2011 admitted freshmen was 4.04 and 3.5 for transfer students. In offering more than 100 academic majors and 90 graduate programs, the university excels in interdisciplinary research programs and ranks among the nation’s best value colleges.

Meanwhile, for those keeping an eye on the weather, UC Davis is hosting two upcoming talks (Feb. 7 and 8) — “Climatopolis: How Our Cities Will Thrive in the Hotter Future” and “California’s Water Future.”
