Understanding children: Graduate education in child development

UC Davis is renowned for producing state and national leaders in children’s welfare and advocacy. Our graduate students receive a vigorous education in children’s studies related to cross-cultural development, human evolution, cognitive development and learning, behavior, memory systems, and language and intellectual development.

Alumni from our Graduate Group in Child Development are forging new solutions for homeless teens, foster care and nursery school education.  It’s another example of how UC Davis is cultivating leaders who are making life better for children and their families.

Students interested in graduate studies in child development should apply now. The deadline is Dec. 15 for priority consideration; the final deadline is March 1, 2012.
