Improving health care: Graduate studies in biomedical engineering

Biomedical engineering is a new and rapidly evolving field, and UC Davis is educating the scientists who will shape this important health care field for years to come.

The Graduate Group in Biomedical Engineering is among the top-ranked programs of its kind in the nation. Grad students benefit from a highly interdisciplinary and flexible program, and a dedicated and collaborative faculty. Through coursework and research, they learn how to apply engineering innovations to solve health issues — modeling biological systems and designing devices and procedures for human and veterinary medicine, for example.

Students interested in graduate studies in biomedical engineering should apply now. The deadline is Dec. 15 for priority consideration, and May 31 for final consideration.
