Exploring the mind: Graduate studies in psychology

One of the top-ranked programs in its field, the graduate program in psychology is geared for students interested in research and teaching careers. Our faculty’s expertise covers a wide range of fields, including developmental psychology; perception, cognition and cognitive neuroscience; psychobiology, social-personality; and quantitative psychology. Students typically work closely with one or two faculty members to develop research for publication in the top psychology journals.

In educating highly qualified researchers and deepening our understanding of psychology, UC Davis is making a profound difference in the lives of people — in California, across the nation and around the world.

Students interested in graduate studies in psychology should apply now. The deadline is December 15 for final consideration.
