A big Fall Welcome to Aggies

Fall Welcome Week has something for everyone. Connect with old friends, meet new ones and celebrate the start of the school year with fellow Aggies and the UC Davis community.

The celebration runs from Saturday to Saturday, Sept. 21-28, bracketed by football games and filled with welcoming events, celebrations and opportunities to discover the campus and its resources.

Thanks to the Associated Students of UC Davis, a new event, Aggie Traditions Night, promises to be the ultimate initiation. It will be held on Wednesday, the day before classes start on Sept. 26, at the ASUCD Coffee House, beginning at 6 p.m. Participants will be introduced to the core of the UC Davis experience: visiting the cows; eating at the CoHo; tasting our own brand of olive oil; listening to KDVS, our student-run radio station; and taking a picture with our mascot, Gunrock.

A lot of fun is packed into this week to keep you busy and entertained. Check out the Fall Welcome Week calendar for the schedule and follow the Fall Welcome Facebook event page to keep informed during the week.
