UC Davis Today: Find your passion in a student club
Find your passion in a student club
UC Davis encourages students to explore the more than 500 student clubs on campus. They include academic groups, fraternities and sororities, student government, and ethnic and cultural organizations like the Golden Turtle Lion Dance Association, which is devoted to the Chinese art of lion dancing.
The value of student organizations goes beyond students making new friends and sharing new experiences — they teach leadership, fundraising and community skills while expanding upon the classroom experience. Groups like Rotaract mobilize students for humanitarian causes as well as community service while the Chemistry Club shows how much fun a career in the chemistry field could be.
Information on student groups is also available through social media listed individually in the Find a Student Organization database.
