Luso-Brazilian Studies
College of Letters and Science
Minor
The minor in Luso-Brazilian studies offers students the opportunity to engage with the Portuguese-speaking world as a global space. Students also gain in-depth knowledge of Brazilian literature, culture and society. The minor is structured to facilitate engagement with Latin American, peninsular and transatlantic topics, while ensuring that students master the essential skills of linguistic competence and literary and cultural knowledge. We highly recommend that students participate in study abroad. Courses taken abroad may count toward the minor.
