Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) is a transfer preparation program with a mission to support and enhance a transfer culture for college students enrolled at our partner community colleges. We provide support that complements your college’s efforts and initiatives to increase the number of transfer ready students.

TOP can help you with

Important Dates

Aug. 1: Start your application on August 1 for admission the following year.

Sept. 1–30: Submit the TAG application via the UC Transfer Admission Planner.

Oct. 1–March 2: Apply for financial aid at studentaid.gov or dream.csac.ca.gov.

Oct. 1–Dec. 2 : Application filing period for admission for the following year.

Students who just graduated high school and plan to attend a community college that is part of the UC Davis Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) are invited to participate in a free, three-day, two-night summer residential intensive transfer preparation program.

The program was developed by UC Davis and founding corporate partner, Chevron, in collaboration with Los Rios, Peralta, San Joaquin Delta, and Contra Costa Community College districts.

UC Davis School of Medicine will partner with three 4-year institutions – UC Davis, California State University (CSU), Sacramento, and Cal Poly Humboldt – and a network of community colleges feeding into them, to establish this robust educational ecosystem.
